Jay Dee Walk for Lupus

The Jay Walkers and the ALR(Alliance for Lupus Research) will hold a walk for lupus/Dilla this Saturday, November 15th, at Crescent Bay Park in Santa Monica, Los Angeles. Check in is at 9, and the walk is at 10. The fundraising will go towards lupus research in an effort to learn more about it, and hopefully treat and prevent it. The walk is 5k, which comes out to about 3.1 miles, for all you non-metrics. Not that long of a walk, and each step is for a good cause. As you all know, we lost the legendary producer to lupus, so this walk also acts as a tribute to his great fight and the positivity that has resulted from such an untimely death. Sad as it was, Dilla has inspired these Jay Walkers to keep on his fight; hopefully he'll get new recruits this Saturday. For more information you can check out Fusicology or the ALR site.
