Streetlab :: NY Sound

Are you ready for some disco freakin'? Well Streetlab is...although they're not exactly disco. Come to think of it, they aren't exactly electro-rock either, despite what they may claim. Although they began generating a buzz by remixing rock legends from Zeppelin to Nine Inch Nails, the dance club oriented sound of their original music has much stronger ties to electronica than to rock. What they refer to as the "New York sound" thumps and dazzles. The track by the same name first gained support overseas from the BBC's Radio 1. It's also the first single from their recently released EP.

Hahaha. Yo, if you're going to post fake comments, at least wait a couple minutes between each one. Damn you stupid. And by the way, Tanya is right - the vocals ruin an otherwise dope track.

Feelin' the production but the writing and vocal sound is just god awful. It's not unique or interesting or fresh - it's just awful. At least it's not more tired hip hop though.
